We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was fantastic, right by the casino and within walking distance of downtown. It was great to have so many varied restaurants and entertainment options close by. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a king bed and a sofa. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated having juice, coffee, and cookies available throughout the day. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, with a good choice of items to choose from.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was great.

The hotel had good location and the food. In this venue we felt safe. For evening drinks visit Ted's Montana Grill, it is located within 10 minutes by foot.

the location for a graduation and downtown
I felt the rooms were lacking. the Suite was not a suite and the room we stayed in had two chairs and no table! I really didn't like the arrangement of the room at all with the sink outside of the bathroom. Other than that it was ok

The room was large and comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast had small portions but good, the service was very slow every morning we went to breakfast.

The staff was very nice. The room was big enough that we had plenty of room to add a blow-up mattress (that we brought along with us)
We had 3 criteria when picking a hotel. 1) It had to have an indoor pool. We have a very active preschooler and we needed that for his activities. 2) We needed a first floor room. I have ms and we needed to be able to go in a door and get to the room. 3) We needed a free sufficient breakfast. We did not get any of the 3. We got to the hotel, our first floor room smelled incredibly strongly of paint / voc some kind of chemicals. We went to the front desk, were told they were re- sealing the pool, so that is what the smell was. Were offered a different room on the second floor and took it. Needless to say, the pool was out of order 2 of the 3 days we were there. We dealt with a few tantrums from a little boy who we had promised he could swim. The next morning we went to the restaurant. On this site it says free breakfast from the restaurant. We were offered our choice of (I think) 6 different meals. They were all only large enough to fill our preschooler. Our teenager and my husband were still starving after breakfast. And a tip for the waitress was not included, so we had to dig into our pockets for more breakfast and a tip. It isn't the waitress's fault that it was a crummy tiny breakfast. The staff was all very nice, but when I told the front desk clerk about my 3 criteria and how very unhappy we were, she talked to the manager and I was told that since we were still staying in a room, there would be no discount. The breakfast was still breakfast like they advertised (though it sure sounds like it would be a big one and it was not) and the pool was just maintenance they had to do, so it wasn't their fault. We were offered no compensation whatsoever, no offer of a free dinner or extra breakfast, not even an offer to let us out of our reservation for free if we wished to go to a different hotel for the rest of our stay in town. I let them know I would be giving a negative review, though I have never given any restaurant or hotel a negative review in my life.

The location of the hotel is great as it is close to Bozeman's lively downtown area where you can explore interesting shops and restaurants. the hotel is conveniently located right by their casino, offering entertainment options. the rooms are quite spacious and come with comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The WiFi at the hotel is unreliable and not suitable for anyone relying on a steady internet connection.

Okay, so there are double queen rooms, and then there are the double queen rooms at the Magnuson Grand. Our room was HUGE! Incredibly spacious for a hotel room. Think like double the size of a normal double queen room. Maybe we just got lucky, but seriously, it was staggering, the amount of space in the room. The pool and hot tub were both nice. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
The breakfast deal they have with the restaurant in the hotel is less than stellar--hardly worth the voucher, but better than nothing, I guess. Also, if you have poor memory, this place might not be for you: lots of twists and turns and weird corridor layouts. Fun for us, but getting lost more than once is a distinct possibility.

This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its amazing central location right in the heart of downtown. The friendly and helpful staff ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a choice of two double beds or a king bed with a sofa. The free breakfast provided in the casino restaurant was a delicious start to the day.
The only minor downside was the intermittent wireless internet connection.

Excellent location for downtown.
Described as hotel but more Motel.Room was on ground floor adjacent to parking lot so opening curtains not practical and room consequently very dark. Airco in swimming pool area set far to cool, took 3 hours to warm body up after swimming. Would not give receipt for payment!

Clean and convenient location! We loved being able to easily walk around downtown and explore the city. the room was clean and quiet, perfect for a romantic escape.
The hotel is in need of some updates and renovations. the decor and carpeting felt a bit tacky and old-fashioned.

I loved this Hotel. Room was large, very clean, beds are very comfortable. The price was well within our budget. The free breakfast was amazing. I liked the fact that there is an on site restaurant. The young women at the front desk was very helpful. Would stay at the Magnuson again if I return to Grand Rapids in the future. I would say of all the Hotels we stayed at on our road trip this was the best. Jo F.
